Woman Wearing Yellow Crystal Gloves
Every bag I create is a journey in itself. My path began decades ago in a small leather-carving studio in university, where I first learned to sculpt dreams into form. Even today, I continue to carve by hand—etching intention, history, and imagination into every surface.
The process is intimate and uncompromising. From hand-selecting each hide to designing the pattern with my collaborating leather artisan, from carving and colouring the leather to choosing every piece of hardware, I complete each stage personally. Only the final stitching is entrusted to a master craftswoman—one of the most talented of her generation in Taiwan—whose hands translate my carved vision into a finished piece. Together, our collective hours exceed three thousand for even a single small bag.
Our meeting was serendipitous. She carries the rare spirit of a young leather artist with the soul of an old-world craftsman. Her stitching embodies the ideal I once had: to create sculpted leather bags that feel like art, not accessories. Within each piece lies the shared devotion of two artisans—like tending a garden together, planting, watering, and nurturing something that grows from the heart.
We pursue beauty with a reverence that sometimes asks us to abandon rules, to experiment fearlessly, to preserve individuality in a world led by trends. This is our ode to craftsmanship—where technique meets soul.
My hope is that every woman who carries one of my creations holds more than a bag. I hope she carries a story—one that accompanies her as intimately and thoughtfully as any treasured companion, holding not only her essentials but a quiet, enduring piece of art made just for her.
